Our Company, Queserías Picos de Europa, S.L. is situated in the Valdeón Valley, nestled high in the mountains of northeast Léon, bordering the southern slopes of the wilderness area of the Picos de Europa. The centre for production is the village Posada de Valdeón. The valley is one of the most beautifull valleys on the Picos de Europa heart.
The Alonso brothers, Tomás and Javier, have been making this cheese for many years in the valley of Valdeón.
Crema de Queso
Fabricado con queso madurado, leche de vaca y cabra pasterizada. Peso neto: 200 grs. Ideal para salsas, aperitivos y tapas.
Keep it well wrapped in plastic wrap in a fresh and dark place. If it is keeped in the fridge, it is better to take it out about one hour before eating it. It is recommended for salads, sauces, or just spreading on bread. Try with caramelised fig and quince preserve or a slice of membrillo. Just delicious!
